WHOOPS! it happened again!

Life sure placed you in a really long line
just one more time and lied to you saying

"Oh everything's just fine!...take a number."

And you wait, but nothing happens.

It's hard to keep from trading faith for fate,
trading love for hate,
hoping your blessing is right on time,
but seems time after time after time...
your blessing just keeps on showing up...

LATE...aha! Well now that's just great!

So what do you do, sit back, wait for success
to bless others why you cheer for yourself
under the covers?

Don't hide while others ride their pride
like a thoroughbred horse right out of the
starting gate...because even horses get old...
and so do folks who are always bold to boast
of all of their accolades coast to coast.

You are who you are, where you are...and you do NOT
need to be seen as a star in someone else's eyes,
just keep focused and never give up, 
because when your time arrives,
it'll we be as it should be...
then NOBODY will be stealing YOUR time
to be noticed.

So don't you dare despise your journey,
In time, it's gonna be you saying "IT'S MY TIME!

Just keep YOUR shining eyes focused
on YOUR prize!
