NEVER INTERRUPT A MAN AND HIS GOLF
(Especially if you are a woman)
We were a group of gray haired ladies,
When a ball landed that drove him crazy.
Just falling about 10 yards from his feet,
Causing him to say words I’d never repeat.
Then shouting and waving, much to our wonder,
He pulled out a phone to report my blunder.
Soon out came a ranger demanding I reform,
While laughing so hard he could barely perform,
His job of obtaining my most solemn word,
That never again would I be so absurd,
As to hit near a man whom everyone had seen,
Taking 12 practice strokes right on the green!
At lunch we laughed about the man and his phone.
But we felt bad when he came in alone.
So we waved him over and in a short while,
He apologized nicely and left with a smile.
AND THAT WAS BETTER THAN ANY HOLE IN ONE!
