Trying to say something, but unable to find the words.

Speechless
The first time I saw you
I couldn't believe it was true .
That such a beautiful creature
Could exist in my view.

You glided toward me,
As if your feet didn't hit the ground.
Coming closer to where I sat,
My heart beginning to pound.

Planting yourself next to me,
I found myself wanting to speak.
But nothing came out of my mouth,
Not a sound, not a word, not even a peep.

So I wrote this poem
In order to say hi.
Hope this doesn't scare you,
'Cause I hate saying goodbye.
