I've tried my best to make it happen
But nothing materialized,
Seem time is going to make me sweat it out,
Til the Money arrives,
The day of celebration
Is just a few weeks away?
Without it all my plans are shot,
Oh Father, you got to help me out,
I'm in a serious jam . . .
The event we give every year
For the homeless and seniors
Is about to be shut down? ,
Oh, no this can't be,
Send us a miracle, an angel to save the day,
For our sponsors of today,
Are saying Charity no way!
But my people depend on me.
