With God as my witness, I take to life’s sea
The struggles and turmoil, the highs and its lows
His love is my compass; His strength carries me
O’er challenge and hardship where Satan’s wind blows
When large, murky waves form to impede my course
God takes the command and leads my heart to shore
His grace gives me courage; I am moved by His force
His safety and guidance are blessings galore
With God as my pathway, I stroll through my days
From first dawn of morn, His warmth greets my heart
The sunshine, the breezes; He’s with me always
A testament to His infinite works of art
From raindrops come rainbows; from clouds, a clear sky
Assurance the Great Flood won’t happen again
Each day of my life I’m reminded of why
Jesus died on the cross and released me from sin
With God as my Savior, I live by His glory
Each step in my journey predestined by Him
He scripted the chapters within my life’s story
Each page holds the notes to my life’s special hymn
His honor, His favor, His grace, and His might
Fill my life with purpose; my heart with accord
God’s gift is my reason to walk towards the light
His Son grants my fortune for Jesus IS Lord
