What all is one not prepared to love- a poetic expression of the obsession
For a date with you I can walk the desert in scorching sun. I can swim a turbulent ocean. I can hike across the highest peak I can stalk the dense night jungle For a date with you, I can kneel on your feet I can sit out all night I can buy the entire flower shop I can be servile to your folks. For a date with you, I can confront my boss, I can bunk any meeting, I can tell endless lies, I can put my career on the line In case you think I am going wayward For you I can really bend backward Let me too have your view On what a lifetime would be for me to be with you.
