i saw a star
glazing up into the heavens i saw a star.
perhaps it was the way the star twinkled brightly.
beckoning me to notice my star among the other stars
i kept my eyes concentrated on the star's own uniqueness
for the star blinked in a recurring rhythm
as if to catch my eyes in the telling.
watching closer, i felt even more than i saw.
and; in that thrilling feeling my heart quicken.
for,what was in that star to awaken my soul., now,fully aroused i sensed a message from THE star.

that blinking star scintillating
over me
