lovers of life and youth

Like the wind and the sand blowing crosses the land we had ourselves to plan for ages that we share, a crisp and sunny way at love we would try to play, when the passion went a way we stopped at each other and stared, for love is many things like whiskey sex and sweet sweet dreams, from adolescent kept we children of the time we wept for better than a kiss in night, tremble well the tread of fingers dancing on each thread as clothes were removed, tasted well the body parts and tell a story of passion known to few, still as you stand before me that itch is not free, we tumble into arms that know our souls, a common thing each own someone else’s wedding ring, but from our youth to now, no spark is as bright as the light I find in yours and mine heart

To be a place and in a place be, we write to more than conversation, a part of a choice made long ago, oh little one what do you see, is it wild or is it free, trapped in your cage, rage of wonder sage of sage, and in the middle we do find so me compromise, I do believe it to be a dragon left to wing, a voice so sweet you may just sing to be a part of the dream, oh little one what can it be that I can no longer see, the merriment in your eyes, just big old tears waiting a cry, we have a long time been lovers, now just friends, for in the midst of life our creativity took flight with butterflies laying cold in a field freshly mowed, so it is in dew filled streams we run and hide and see our failed dreams, sun and shine, come back one more time to hold me there, I will be good, a Robin and Maid Marian from the old hood, time and mumble schemes now end in pretty things left beside our road, did we grow up or just get old.

So it is a chance meeting in the street, a sly smile and a friendly greet, I have to cross the street, for just the touch of hand, takes all command and we are gone again to the place where lovers go, never knowing where the next will send, a letter in box, you know you still are hot, wrinkles and all
