I wrote this shortly after meeting the man who would become my husband in NOV 1990.
What I Want To Say So many things going on So many things going wrong Caught in a crossfire Caught up in the confusion. What I want to say Is that I don’t know How I’m feeling Or how I should react. Everyone is so busy Proper thoughts Can’t think properly Of the day’s events. What I want to say Is that I don’t know I go from day to day I could shine in the afterglow. And once the whole mess Is all sorted out And we’re all back to reality I still can’t express myself. What I want to say Is that I’m in love… And I didn’t realize until now And the day is all gone. hahaha. love has a way of taking us by surprise like this. love is such a whirlwind. It lifts you up and then brings you down. But it's better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all.

If he became your Husband I take it that you finally got it all worked out for the better.
