On this sweet day I devote my life
To love you as my own soul.
I give you my all, my everything
Submitting myself to your control.
It feels as though my lifetime was meant
For making this solemn vow to you.
In the presence of men and heavenly angels
I pledge in all things to be faithful and true .
With you paradise feels one day closer,
And eternal happiness seems right at my fingertips.
My morning and evening seems to only begin
With the arousing warmth of your lips.
How can I be unfaithful to anyone
Who knows each and everyone of my flaws...
Yet with the greatest patience and understanding
Time and again forgives them all.
So our living to love has led us to this,
A journey together that never has to end.
