Respite
 
She was drought,
In desperate need,
of a cool drink of water.
 
He was respite,
A cool drink of water,
If you will.
 
She drank him in,
Coming and going,
And thirsted for more.

It's a flowing, crystal stream where need and source meet and run together as if made to be one; who could fail to be refreshed and nourished by such a glorious coming together? Lovely metaphor, Karen. xx
