A romantic gloaming experience in the Botanical Gardens, Melbourne, Australia
An Evening in the Botanical Gardens
We walked in the gardens in the
gloaming
watching the swans and the ducks
and the white water birds
knowing not their names, but
taking in their difference
And the sun shone on the tree tops
while the dog barked
the lovers kissed
and the last post sounded from
Government House
The reign of God was to be seen
felt
experienced
enjoyed,
in Melbourne
