The radio started playing our song

Only sobs could come & I pulled over

The loss of being the only one in your heart

Felt like losing every color of the sunset

Uncertainty shook the core of my being

As I did not know what came next

You so far away & so far lost

Me so close that I could not bear it

To lose this deep abiding love for nothing

Like watching the stars fall one by one

The heavens less brilliant I hope less
