Still I wait Minutes turn to hours Hours into days Days into weeks …and still I wait. Sunrises, sunsets Come and go …and still I wait. Flowers bloom and fade away The autumn leaves emerge …and still I wait How can you live day to day Knowing someday I will close my eyes forever Eyes that will never see you Lips to never kiss you Arms to never hold you. …and still I wait.
