She waits for you.

How is she?
She's longing.

What is she doing?
Looking out on the horizon.

How is she spending her days?
Getting on with life, day to day things.

Does she still sit in the field?
Sometimes, but not much anymore.

Does she think I'll come back to her?
It's what gets her up in the morning.

What about the woods? Does she go there, where we used to go?
The woods, she tries, then runs.

I go back to those places, in my mind, a million times, imagining us there together. And I long to go, to find her there. Tell her I love her.
