Mountain Breeze

Sweeping coolness from the mountain
Down peaceful valleys and through the evergreens
On its way to your house, the mountain breeze
Finds you slumbering in “Dreamland“...
Curtains move so gracefully and slowly
Then return to their post
Guarding the edges of your window
Like the soldiers of Buckingham Palace.
Caressing your hair and cheeks
With a touch so soft
It is like the kiss of an angel.
You shift in bed and smile as you dream.
Your gentle spirit floats on the mountain breeze
Exploring the night and morning quiet
Seeking that which eludes the conscious mind.
Searching for the happiness that completes
Your soul and fills the void of centuries
Of loneliness. A kindred spirit sweeps you along
To the edge of the clouds above the mountain
And holds you there in an embrace
You’ve longed for. So comfortable
And perfect is the journey that
Your soul rejoices until
You must return to awaken to the dawn.
An inspiring composition, "Mountain Breeze" shines scented with the aroma of life.
In admiration,
