Flyer and Fryer are smiling tonight.
For a while... they were afraid they might
wind up as dinner for the White House crew.
But the president said, "that just won't do!"
The two were pardoned and given a trip
to Disney World and citizenship
In a petting zoo where they can spend
the rest of their lives. No dark clouds portend
the fate which happened to most of their kind
in "Black November" as Americans dined
on friends and relatives with gravy and rolls
and cranberry sauce in decorative bowls.
So smile for these gobblers, be happy too.
They have it better than me and you!

But I hope Mr. Bush saved a couple of
pardons for Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rove!
