Butterfly, butterfly
Black on wings of night
Thought filled rocks of light
The angel of death alights.
Butterfly, butterfly
Come & pray tonight
Come to ease my fright
The angel of death alights.
Butterfly, butterfly
I will shed my wings for thee
I will die to be set free
The angel of death alights.
Butterfly, butterfly
I have become your darkened flight
On wings of aged light
The angel of death delights.
