Poet Who Made Thee

Oh Poet,
upon Divine Conception
Who made up
thy Pristine Composition
Where dye heartbeats
flutter living live
Oh Poet dost thou know,
who made thee

GOD of Lamb
Bless thy Poets
GOD of Lamb
Bless Thy Poetry
Womb of Lamb
inspire thee
wry vivid verse
Womb of Lamb
sail sublime
thy lucid terse

Prone a lone
thee poet plead
Beseech thee
Adrift a WAKE
writ mid
divine preponderance
Cradles THY Bard
Blessing upon thee terse
Words radiating
the whole world
in Thy Name

For The Miracle
of POE~ Creation
Lives in
GOD Bless America,
who made thee
Little Lamb

William Blake’s “Little Lamb”

Little Lamb, who made thee?
Dost thou know who made thee?
Gave thee life & bid thee feed,
By the stream & o’er the mead;
Gave thee clothing of delight
Gave thee clothing wooly bright;
Gave thee such a tender voice,
Making all the vales rejoice!
Little Lamb who made thee?
Dost thou know who made thee?

Little Lamb I’ll tell thee,
Little Lamb I’ll tell thee!
He is called by thy name,
For he calls himself a Lamb,
He is meek and He is mild
He became a little child
I a child & thou a lamb
We are called by his name,
Little Lamb God bless thee
Little Lamb God bless thee.

Great paraphrasing of William Blake. And a wonderful way to pay tribute to 4 July our country's birth.
