heart is strong...but tired

This Man’s Strength
…………………………………………………………………..

As I labored today,
At skillful trade,
I was sure…
I felt your kiss,
Upon my lips…
In a fleeting moment,
Between thoughts.

As I entered maze of,
City crowded…anxious,
I could have sworn…
I felt your warm embrace…
Of reassurance.

As loneliness,
Came crashing in…
With overbearing weight,
I’m sure I felt…
Your gentle, powerful…
Touch…holding…
So supportive,
Giving me strength.

With darkness tapping…
On my windows,
Refusing light…
I ran into it,
In my attempt,
To escape to emptiness,
Of my bed…

Falling…
Into what I hoped…
Was safe,
I felt the softness…
Of your hands,
Catch my head…

Lying me tenderly down,
As you disrobed me…
Expelling my pain,
As you graciously…
Covered me with your body…

Sending me…
Into time to come…soon,
Where strength of this man,
Would be returned to him,
Given back as a gift…

Of your love.

This is beautiful as always Erin. Love is life's most precious gift.

Love is not only powerful but enchanting, enlightening and many more things I'll not take up all the space here to type/pen. Love is indeed life, a life without any love...well lifeless, no meaning. You have beautiully conveyed that and the many other aspects of love I shall leave for others to comment upon. Glad I dropped by today!

Metaphysically profound and spiritually appealing. Beautiful lines made moreso by the powerful concept that informs them.

Sisters of Emsharra Print Collection by Gracie McKeever

Unrest is afoot in Emsharra and Quna Nahemah’s idea to quash the rebellion is to leave Sisters, Genesis and LaMia, to their own devices.
