I have a confession to make, But only in written words Upon this page…I dare not Say to your face…just yet.
When you told me of your Plans to travel, A sense of oncoming Freedom came over me… With thoughts of time alone, In space reserved for just me.
Now here I sit in the silence… Only the sound of cricket chorus And June bug buzzing back porch Light…and an occasional hoot owl Call… to keep me company.
I’m at peace in my space… But there is a corner that Seems empty… It is a corner of my heart… That your presence fills, Night after night… Day after day.
You see… I’m guilty of taking our life For granted…although A day never passes, Where I do not breathe A prayer of gratification For the love you give me…
I’ve become so accustomed To the comfort of us…together… Working in perfect time, With each other…as we build Our perfect life together.
Your brief absence brings A rude awakening, as I realize… Without you…
My whole world is empty.

Your brief absence brings
A rude awakening, as I realize…
Without you…
I wrote this novel several years ago, I self published and never had it to sell. I have decided to rewrite it and hope to get it published within a few months for people to be able to buy. I had a few copies and gave them to a few family members and
A rude awakening, as I realize…
Without you…
My whole world is empty.
Yes..quite so...
