Why do I always want what I can’t have?
I love you so much
My soul cries for you
My heart lives for your embrace
I dream only of you
You’re all I’ve ever wanted
I want to be with you
Only you
Your presence is all I’ve ever craved
My emotions revolve around you
My entire body begs for one moment
In your loving essence
God I’d die to be with you
Just once to hear you laugh
To have your arms around me
When I cry
To sleep peacefully with your body
Wrapped around mine
God you’re everything I’ve ever wanted
You’re all I’ve ever prayed for
Dreamt of
Begged for
God how I love you
I scream my love for you
All of the day
I cry my longing for your body
Into the night
Do you have any idea
What I would do for just one kiss from your lips?
One brush of your hand upon my shoulders?
To feel your breath caress my ear?
I close me eyes and it’s your face I see
You possess me

Powerful longing is felt here for a man you have wanted, for maybe years. I could feel your emotion in this poem...good write! So many of us want what we cannot have!

Sorry I don't quite understand this poem.

I know you have great love for someone......but are you claiming this person or calling this person God?????

Or are you really really speaking to God?????.....which I doubt you are.

But I'm really confused here. I have never talk to God in this way, and I have never called another person God.

Perhaps it's just me that I couldn't understand the passion in this poem. Sorry I did not mean to offend you. If I had, I'm really sorry for what I've said here.
