Live in the moment
The here and the now
Don’t get lost
With the why and the how
Do not project
Keep your eyes on the goal
A constant reminder
That the future is beyond my control
I’m very proficient
At keeping the feelings at bay
As I run through my routine
During the worked rushed day
There’s always something
To preoccupy my mind
Reminding me constantly
Of my present day and time
It’s when I dream
That my feelings become clear
Exposing the truth
Making it impossible to disappear
The dreams come to me
Both day and night
Sifting through my consciousness
Affecting my feelings and sight
As I dream, your face enters my mind
Inducing my smiles
Though we are separated
By so many miles
You kiss my neck
As your voice lilts into my ears
And then the pendant moves
Dispelling all of my fears
It’s moments like this
When I cannot deny
That I want to be with you
My feelings don’t lie
I want to touch you
To feel your skin against mine
Kiss you incessantly
Time after time
In my dreams
I know exactly what I desire
I want you, my darling
And our bodies on fire
Then the soothing images
By the sounding sea
With our bodies tangled
While you’re making love to me
I want to sleep peacefully
While rocking gently in your arms
With your arms wrapped around my body
There’s no reason for alarm
So many thoughts
And so many dreams
Giving me the hope
That makes my heart beam
Your love keeps me in the moment
It’s the light that guides my way
A constant beacon
As I walk through my day
Our dreams are not projections
Of things that cannot be
They are simply reflections
Of my dreams of reality
