Let Mw Cry A Little-Please!

djbeaulieu

Everyday I cry a little --
sometimes roses, sometimes thorns.
Everyday I cry, my-oh-my –
sometimes bumble bees, sometimes stingers.

Today at sunrise I cried a little,

a little more than yesterday –

sometimes sunshine, sometimes rain.

.Today, at high noon, I cried a little,

a little more than at sunrise –

sometimes happiness, sometime pain.

Today at dusk I cried a little,

a little more than at high noon –

some times warm tears, sometimes icicles.

Today, this evening, I cried a lot –

a lot more than yesterday,

a lot more than at sunrise,

a lot more that at high noon,

and a lot more than at dusk --

sometimes sunbeams, sometimes nightmare dreams.

Tomorrow has yet to come;

so, I’ll not cry for what it may bring me and you.

Let’s hope we have time to sing a prayer or two

for me and you.

sometimes rain, sometimes sunshine,

sometimes butterflies and their spirits too.

You express such optimism in this poem, and include reality of what may be. You'll take it as it comes - good philosophy.
