A Thought for

Marguerite Lorraine (Rousseau) Beaulieu

(August 2, 1927 to October 31, 2005)

The journey of life is a mix of the known and unknown

and moving through its many passages is difficult.

Lorraine was one of the few who knew this.

She knew life’s journey, although sometimes fearful,

it was to be faced head on and to be understood

as fully as each of us could.

She traveled her journey in love, dignity, and honor.

Her kindness was ever giving — like her beauty in youth.

These all radiated from her like the warmth of the morning sun.

She tried hard to pass these values on to all she knew

through her actions and deeds, not just her words, and it is in this

that so many of us found strength.

She was the song in our hearts and the melody that rang in our thoughts,

for she was our Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

It is hard to let loved-ones go, but when it is time -- we must!

We hold her dear in our thoughts and send her off on her new

journey with our joyful blessings.

Her guide in her late years became Father Felix Varela

and it was in him that she found mortal strength and a path

to our Creator and Savior.

Let us graciously commend her into the glorious lap

of God and His heaven.
