Like a thick dark veil
Covering me with dread

I don't usually do any kind of hard critique on AD, but in this verse I thought I would just point out that the third line seems to me to be out of place, unless I am reading it wrong. Maybe another reworded like would be better. Something like "Love to never die." That is just a suggestion.
