A sad piano echoes quietly
in a fringe between light
and darkness.
We touch softly in
Spring’s cool air, hoping
love will come.
Then the rush of it shocks
our hearts as suddenly
we kiss.
A circus of night
fills the heavens with
pure delight.
Let it be, let it be—
oh love intended this
with all its might.
