We are never truly alone even though it may appear that way. Last night was one of the few times I could feel my soulmate from the other side. I guess I wanted more experiences since I am here LOL.
His hands covered mine as I wept in my sorrow.
Sadness only he could feel through many generations.
I felt him there but could not hold him in my arms.
A whispered kiss; unfelt but known through the years.
Surrounded by my lover, our energies intertwined.
I reached for him wishing to see him once again.
Deep in my despair he entered me with laughter;
Refilling darkened spaces with love and light.
A smile now played upon my quivering lips.
His love rebirthing me into today’s moments,
He rekindled my strength for tomorrow’s lessons.
Our love has no boundaries of human death.
this is lovely poetry Kate
