Lord I don't need
apocalyptic
exaggerations -
No frightening
predictions, no
un-relateable,
confusing
revelations...

Just Your Arms
of comfort
and my
listening ear;
Your common
way of speaking
Truth;
reminding me
there is nothing
to fear...

when You are
right here...
I'm going to make it
through to
the end
of this year.

Much apocalyptic is exaggerated and much can be changed with positive, loving action that doesn't rely on fatalistic thought to occur. A change towards the positive like your companion of choice is in the air and working hard to come up with positive solutions.

Thinking negatively only prolongs and exacerbates what we have created that needs to be changed.
