Burdened With Love  by David CLURE

Talking to a friend of mine, 
over lunch, the other day --
Asked her, what could I do, to help?
Here's what I heard her say:

I don't want to be a burden,
a problem, in other's hands, so,
I will somehow manage, hope
you can understand.

But, JESUS taught us on God
we ought to all depend;
And JESUS taught us, to Love
one another, bear one another's burden.

The prodigal returned, we need
each other daily.
The Samaritan did so also...
That's how humans grow...

That's how humans be more Human, don't you know.
If we all help each other, our
burdens will grow lighter, 
here below.
