A TIME FOR LURVE?

He gave me Time…his

And a designer time piece

He gave me a warm smile

And a beautiful French kiss

He took my hand

And walked with me

Along London’s Oxford Street

He exchanged my navy shoes

For trainers…

To ease my painful feet

He ran an hotel bath

When I was not well

After drinking cocktails

Which made me feel like hell!

He helped me grieve

Silently…

When I got the news

My Nan had died

He did not say a word

But quietly stayed

By my side

And then he was gone

And my world became still

I felt the breeze

Of an Autumn’s chill

I feel a void inside

That only he can fill

And now my future

Is blank…

With time to kill

Never knowing if

I will see his wonderful

Face again

Or…

If he feels

Remotely the same?
