Weary Hearts

~ Weary Hearts ~ Two lonely ... isolated hearts With souls as old as creation Move livelier than the winds Hearts limited within this time Having awareness and knowing life Yet ... feeling not ... each other's writ Paired by moments Flowing hearts spasm Seeing not ... they become scarred Bleeding and cry outwardly Passing by the other ... unmoved Two halves of life ... not joined One Love hidden deep in history A Heart as One ... not knowing unity But ... each heart pulses in time Pounding blood's dreams as one Yet ... each ... just seers ~~~ in repose Searching still ... not knowing Having blinded weary hearts
~ May All Hearts See ~
