Even the most jaundiced eye could not have foreseen
That 9000 lies would gurgle up from the bowels of that
Obese body.
Whether elected by hook or by crook
Even if aided and abetted by the Kremlin
Or from dining on a bowl of celebratory Kimchee
From the congenial kettles of Pyongyang.
They say we find our psychological soulmates
At the same level of our own esteem
Perhaps ‘tis simpler to note that
Misery loves company.
Socrates would have been hard put to
Have applied his tests of logic and
Found any truth from within
Those layers of Mar-a-largo blubber
Surrounded by custom-crafted golf balls.
Stick by stick
His prevaricated house of lies and deceit
Fell away from their insecure places
As fake news and fake deeds
Revealed to one and all
Like the emperor with no clothes
There was no there “there.”
I rest my case.

Trump expresses his life as the means justifies the ends, whether it's for his personal enrichment, self-glory, family advantage, or exploiting others. Human rights are only applicable to the right kind of people ie, the ones who have earned it, not by public service, but by the value of their material wealth. He measures himself by how much he can get away with, how much money he has, how much power he wields. He has the aspirations to be a worshipped dictator, which from his viewpoint being ruthless & totally self-serving, is only right because his base has only one purpose, which is to recognize his greatness and enable his grip on power. What does it say about the political class in America that such a man was assisted on his path to power?

I Came to read and review
I am tired of all these senseless rants I hear every day from the slimy left and now socialist get over it
you lost and now grin and bear. and someone Please inform those idiots congressmen at the hill to take a few steps back and look at themselves in the mirror before opening up a can of Maggots
And thank you, Ed, for clearly pointing out what socialism is. And also pointing out how rapidly we are becoming a plutarchy, oligarchy or a country ruled by an aristocracy of the rich and powerful. Why so many people embrace riches and power as good is probably the same reason so many embrace religion and somehow saving them from their miserable lives instead of placing the blame directly on their own miserable behavior.
