Captive audiencE by David CLURE

What is the meaning
of this
pestilence?
This
World-Wide-Touching,
distancing, apokalypse?
And
What shall
be Your Purpose LORD,
in this
new ancient
Exodus?

Same
as it has always been,
He whispered clearly
from His Written Word:
I AM WHO I AM.

And Pestilence
shall spread My Word,
till every single ear has
heard;
from Pharaoh to your
sparrow-bird.

We, be creatures,
You and I:
Limited and mortal.
Without exception,
we shall die.

I AM WHO I AM,
He whispered from this
pestilence, to us.
And your Grave
cannot hold ME.

I Am Your Savior Jesus Christ;
Lift your eyes, UP to My
empty cross,
then UP to Heaven and --
See ME. Believe.

Jesus Christ says that those walking around in darkness see everything obscurely, but those whose eyes He's opened, they see quite clearly. To those in willing denial of truth, all of life is a riddle and no amount of explaining will ever be enough. All we can do is pray God's mercy into their hearts and be patient.

Interesting. Ask a simple straightforward question. And the great always answers with a riddle. I'm reminded of the Wizard of Oz where behind the curtain was just a simple, deluded man.

Excellent points David. We will ALL die eventually. It's God's eternal equalizer. The choice we make now is if we want to live on the dark side or live with the giver of light. People are hoping to make it through this crisis without too much damage to their life-style. But this life is so temporary. I have little concern for myself but for my family, that's another matter. Have a HAPPY EASTER! Amen
