Virtigo can raise its head and manifest itself in many ways, leaving you feeling that your life is spinning out of your control. When worry and circumstance has grabbed hold of the helm and has thrown you off the course that you were sure you were supposed to be on, then perhaps your mind, in its confused state, is listening and spinning about, trying to find home; the problem being that your mind doesn’t always have the same goal in mind that your heart has—the dance begins!

The Virtigo Dance!

Look up, Look down,
Now spin around,
And keep the beat
Of that tinnitus sound;
It’s a one-man band
That I can’t command,
So, I’ll try to tune it out!

Then, spin to the left,
And spin to the right,
Grab your cane
And hold on tight!
You’re in for a ride
Till the spins subside
It’s a dance I could do without!
