Another Life... (Poetry) - 2/2/2010 4:47:34 PM
I have dreams too, not actulally visions but can see what is ahead for me sometimes, if I interpret my dreams right and often. They are not scarey but peaceful to me.

Each has to find their own path and follow it faithfully.
We all have this freedom, a freedom that many take for-granted, forgetting those who fought for our right of freedom of speech.
However, in my country i do have a concern, that if we don't bring another culture in to line, we are setting a foundation for evil to prevail.

Indeed. Yesterday is history tomorrow is a mystery.
The type of thing that is easy in the light of day, but at night all alone it can be scary - future unknown. Or it can be exciting for that's where the best times are to be had.
As always a poignant penn, that makes one "pen and ink" think.

No More Tears... (Poetry) - 1/18/2010 5:37:58 PM
Soul mates never make the best lovers, only friends at best.
The angst and pain one feels from the core after being in the same place.
Why is it that the beautiful hearts get trampled in the dust.
Yet we always think some kind of justice will prevail.
The final stanza is so real, I and many others know that dead feeling.
Why do we try to put our lives through it again.
I guess we all hope for miss right, never, miss right now.

The kind of poem that snaps you on the ear,,, and says to you..."GET THE POINT"? Way to go Gretchen...

Wake the Witch... (Poetry) - 1/18/2010 3:13:21 PM
Oh my gosh. What an ending.
Thanks for the eye test with this tiny writing. :)
Much said, but part of me was thinking if this is the bloke who ditched the poet, then he should be told to naff off.
But the other part said, if this is a pal who is a soul mate, then jolly good show.
The sublime art of poetry is to make the reader want to think. Not read and go away!
Thanks for the brain drain, Mrs Steen.
