The Earth is our Garden of Eden. We must not spoil it. Why spend so much time on death and escaping our Eden with thoughts of resurrection?

It is wonderful to have such fond thoughts about your father and to want to be like him.
I have traveled a different path, trying to avoid the mistakes my father made in life. Yet, as I grow older, I am starting to look more and more like him at an older age.

“Never having to say you're sorry.” There is something in your poem that is tinged with regret. I much prefer love to be uplifting and not an obligation.

A colorful, heartfelt write. The color of my heart? Kind of a darkish red, similar to the blood it pumps, with strands of yellow fat that encircle it nicely. ;-)
