Interesting for me to come back and read this 20 years after I wrote it. I have gone through many changes both philosophically and politically and I see some of my old biases and prejudices in here but my opinion remains largely the same. While now I am an atheist and would never use God as my argument for or against anything anymore, I do think we should still approach this with the understanding that cloning a human is still creating another unique individual, while genetically the same, with completely unique experiences and personality carrying with them the weight of all the rights a human should be afforded.

Elon Musk is now considering putting computer chips into the human brain. We are all going to be humanoids or robotized. Yes, human will be cloned and grown in labs since the young women of today's world only want to abort their own children. It is going to be a world like I have indicated in my poem, "Future World". i agree with jack...man CAN create life, but only between a man and a woman, with God's blessing and help...we need to leave well enough alone! excellent write, hun...(((HUGS))) and love, karla.

I very much agree with you, I believe the only real reason they want to clone a being is because they believe they can. I think its an area they should leave well enough alone.
