Gary this poem is beautiful not just by the words written but most importantly what the last line means. No matter how many times I've stumbled in my life, God knows
I've walked through fire at times. One thing never changed. Whether it's why, or I'm sorry, help me or I love you and thank you, I still pray. Answers come in his time.
The last line means to me, there's always hope.

Don't ask the Lord why when things go wrong, if you have not been a believer of His when everything was going well. Non-believers have the tendency to blame everything on God when things fall apart. Suddenly... they would believe there is a God who is punishing them. Why??

Wow Gary, this must have too an act of courage to write these poetic sediments. You expressed yourself all too well. If your referencing a girl friend or a wife I can tell you that my first wife all to often made me feel broken. Sadly she died of cancer and then I fell apart. I prayed for a wife again after about a year and wrote all the qualities I wanted in her on paper and my prayer partners all prayed for her to come soon. One important thing I asked besides wanting an equally-yoked Christian was to have a new family of in-laws that I could call family. This is so important because you do marry the family, like it or not. The results have been very gratifying and it made all the difference in the world.
