On the contrary, I find you quite normal, although red hair and freckles is a very small portion of the world population and decreasing quite rapidly, to my dismay. Most people harbor believes that they do not express, wanting to fit in. If they find kindred spirits, and most any kind of belief out there has a social network of sorts on the Internet, they can "come out," at least with that particular group. The pressure to conform to what is considered a standard for society is very strong, starting with parents. For example, many left-handers are forced by their parents to become right-handers as soon as it is discovered that they are favoring their left hand.
Intuitive and creative people tend to break the bonds of conformity and therefore may be considered "weird."
As for your beliefs: (by the way, beliefs are not based on facts, although most people with beliefs will say that they are--repetition of a supposition does not make it a fact)
1. If we go down to the cellular level, yes. Our cells and the atoms in them are continually being recycled since the Big Bang. Whether any of our thoughts or remembrances transfer onto the next generation of offspring is questionable.
2. A common thought expressed most eloquently in Chariots of the Gods. Any entity capable of traveling between stars would not seek "refuge." With the intelligence of star travel, there is absolutely no need to "combine" with any life on earth.
3. Time, as most people know it is simply derived from the earth's rotation (a day) and the changing of the seasons in the North and Southern hemispheres (a year). All other time measurements in cosmology are defined through the velocity of objects, usually converted to years or light-years or parsecs. Why would time the flowing "more rapidly" now? We can't perceive time except by comparing it through external objects.

Thanks for the compliments, Ronald! I've owned a few classic cars, but have never been a great enthusiast as far as maintaining one. I do admire them and find old tractors and implements fascinating. Glad you enjoyed the story. That is awesome about your grandfather's tractor and also in awe of you having all those twins in one family! Love it.

A very well written and interesting story in a genre that is not my cup of tea. I am not into mysteries and bringing the Knights Templar back.
That said, my twin brother would enjoy your cars. He is the proud owner of a Jaguar (proudly owned and built by Ford) for the family sedan and has owned many classic British sports cars along with my younger twin brothers who also caught his affection for them. One younger brother has an immaculate TR 6. As far as I know, in spite of our name being English, no desire to be sleuths.
My grandfather owned one of those versatile Ford tractors.
