Wow...
It is early morning here and to say the least this sensual based vampire story sure woke me up in a hurry. I love the way you started in such an innocent but open and realistic style like the line about it being a long time since anyone touched her but herself and then a little further on addressing the issue of curiosity about her bi tenedencies then to finish with such a glorious lovemaking/vampire bite scene...kept the reader's attention.

So very true Melissa. You can see this scene recreated all over the world, in all the major cities.
The worse I have ever seen was in San Francisco down the Mission and Tenderloin areas, where there were thousands of poor pan handlers and hobos lining the streets in abject misery. LA is just as bad downtown.

The simple lines of this are perfect to express that lonely feeling that most of us have felt at least once or twice in our lifes. To have the warmth of another's body next to ours then to lose that warmth either physically or emotionally is deveastatingly lonely.
