Dan this was such a real and wonderful memoir. It brought back memories of my South, my Virginia. Well done. Thank God I've never had to live in the North but I did in the deep South, trust me Virginia is South enough and dramatic enough for most of us!!

Hi Dan, People are so cruel. They fear what they don't want to understand. It's good that you landscape is being reconstructed, because noone can live like a kicked dog still being kicked. I admire your writing about it. And it was very well written. Stay strong....

Hi Dan Stone, this is written with a story-telling truth I don't read in many. I love the first two lines for the set the tone for the entire piece.
