I also used to cry, hoping and praying that he'd make through but he didn't. Have cried many times because I will never see him in this life. This most beautiful, touching and soul deep writing...to your beautiful mother. She is always ..where you are! I can see the resemblance in your faces. I miss my mama, and after reading this, I miss her more than ever. I have cried out for my mama many nights, and I am old, but no matter what age we are, we miss and love and will always need them near, even if only in their spirit. This is such a tender and loving, almost prayer-like writing to your mom. I am sure she is PROUD!!

Immediately I sensed this is a modern-day psalm of praise to God. At the same time I sensed the symbolism of support groups for people who felt they had no hope, needing a shoulder to lean on. And third, I felt that it expressed the way that family should be toward one another, whether husband and wife, brothers and sisters, neighbors and communities.
It hits all possibilities in the human triad of relationships, God, Self, and Others.
