We live in a troubled and an imperfect world wherein humankind since the fall of Adam has been entangled in sinful nature and fallen short of the glory of the God. One woman and a man’s infraction of the spiritual and natural laws has led to moral decadence that has been causing anomie, be it in social, religious and political systems. In the biblical context, anomie means ‘godlessness’ which portends the danger of empty religion as versified in 2 Timothy 3:1-9. Paul gives Timothy and us a dose of reality about the end times in which we live-the period of time between Christ’s ascension and His second coming.
The book authored by Amb.Claire Power Murphy is a fine blend of biblical references quoted from the Old Testament and the New Testament in The Holy Bible, which makes interesting reading. In particular, the biblical and spiritual perspective of the book has been vividly presented and very well laid out, correlating with moral and natural laws.
The author has delved into the Old Testament and the New Testament bringing out the importance of moral and natural laws and how human beings have been knowingly or deliberately violating these biblical standards and the commandments of God. Calling a spade a spade, the author has made uncompromising views and has dealt with the subject in her own distinct ways.
Violation of moral and natural laws is perspicaciously traced out biblically and presented in lucid style by the author.
The scientific interpretation of the mark of the beast 666 and also relating to the carbon atom is not only an eye opener but also very intriguing indeed. The parallel drawn between iron and clay with machine and men is very insightful. Contemplating God creates new brain cells that may be supported by scientific evidences!
While the moral and natural laws are considered vital for the sustainable living of the humankind for the present and in the future,the author has made an attempt to define the concepts ‘moral laws’ and ‘natural laws’ from the ecological perspective also . Very remarkable insight indeed!!
The sanctification by the influence of Christ’s disciples and the word of God has been clearly pointed out. Interestingly enough, the attainment of real peace through Christ is highlighted succinctly. The supremacy of Christ has been very well presented by the author. Keywords are clearly defined.
The first moral lesson ‘temperance’ projected in Genesis Chapter 3 is very well brought out by the author. Deliverance through Christ that becomes the fulcrum of Salvation is described so significantly. The author has presented with the utmost nicety the imperative need to create healthy food habit(s) corroborated with biblical references from the Old Testament and the New Testament.
The clarion call by the author ‘Christ is retuning for His righteous people who will be manifesting the fruit of the Spirit’ is greatly to be eulogized. In point of fact, it is Christian witnessing to the present generation who are led by the “flesh”.
In the final analysis, the book is a fine Christian literary work written by the author.

Preparation for The End: Moral and Natural Law is an in-depth look at what is getting almost completely missing in humanity of today's world regarding God's directives for the peaceful existence of mankind with the Universe after the sin of the biblical first generation separated man from God.
The book answers the questions of where it is we should be redirecting our paths to (“Declaring the end from the beginning.” Is. 46:10 ) to have illumination in respect of Moral and Natural Law choosing to maintain the pure path of Yeshua and His return. WOW!!! 911 is a date that will live in infamy in the minds of the American people, and you just gave us a vivid glimpse of the hell it was being there on the ground in your beloved home city. I can't begin to imagine how you felt, Claire, because the horror I felt that morning continues to be indescribable. But to not know where your child was for an hour, and then in that dark chaos of the aftermath, on top of the entire horror of the situation seems beyond human endurance. Yet, you and millions of New Yorkers endured, and rose to the occasion. You show how everyone in the city reached accord instantaneously when the moment arose. Know that all of us in America were watching our televisions and we were in accord with those of you on the ground during those dark, dark days. The Lord certainly is our Shepherd in times of need, and the souls that were lost in the wreckage of hate that day have a special place at the side of Our Lord and in the hearts of Americans. I am so grateful your daughter was safe. You are correct that 911 left a deep emotional scar on those who suffered it first hand, and on the psyche of the American people. We will never forget, but we are nothing if not survivors. With a little education and proper guidance, we become thrivers, and improve every year. It is in the darkest moments in life that we find our courage, our will, and our indomitable spirit.

Unfortunately, we have all been riding the prosperity of using fossil fuels for power for over 200 years and we are addicted to it. That prosperity has been very uneven and not shared among all of those on the earth, wasted terribly by using it to fuel terrible wars with terrible destruction and death. We have overpopulated the human population without thought of what it will do and everyone's rising expectations to either get rich or appear to be rich, wages into a place that you describe that is very unhealthy and subject to what we are currently experiencing.
It may take a revolution to get us back on evolution's track.

My sister sent me a link that I do not have here that clearly keeps up with the "reported" cases of Covid-19 worldwide and state-by-state in the United States.Some countries probably are reporting far less than what is occurring and some countries may not be keeping up with the count. But it is a good starting point for comparing this virus with the flu.
I cannot read your chart and you give no comparison in the text. But early on I heard that the flu kills about 8000 each winter in the United States. That can be compared with the 78,000 that have died in the United States in two months from Covid-19. Early predictions were for a possible 220,000 deaths. Currently, that has been revised to 110,000 deaths totally with an effective vaccine that will prevent it from coming back again.

My routine has hardly changed, being housebound voluntarily because of cold weather and its effects on my autonomic dysreflexia and intense sweating. But I already practice everything up to the last R and T, because, aside from providing endorphins to the brain, a feel-good thing that those religiously inclined need like opium, belief in a god and prayer does nothing to change outcomes. Avoiding getting the virus by avoiding other people is much preferable to going to church, elbow to elbow, and praying for God to stop it.
I prefer the other T, in moderation. I have not changed my daily glass of white wine. And have read that a glass of wine with dinner every day is not harmful at all.

Thank you for your common sense solution to the Coronavirus pandemic. I opened the diagram and it is quite readable. Unfortunately, it falls short in a number of areas. From what I have learned, the 20% that have severe consequences require ventilators to keep them breathing and even more drastic action to counter pneumonia.
Finally, when you show those "free and clear" of any symptoms to be allowed to "mingle freely," you have violated the major concern of this very, very contagious virus. Mingling freely without symptoms is the problem that is causing the spread. Without daily testing of everyone, your suggestion would be total disaster.

There certainly does seem to be a lot of fear mongering going around. Asian people here in Southwest Houston are wearing face masks as a result of rumors of a virus in a local Chinese market. Coronavirus has not been found here in Houston, yet. From the stats that I see, this virus does not seem to be any more deadly than some of the super bacteria found in our hospitals and clinics.

It's good to read someone who thinks like I do and reads what PETA is doing. And, understands the danger that global warming and subsequent climate change presents for life on earth, including us. Unfortunately, old habits and attitudes are very hard to change. Sometimes it takes a very drastic impact on one's life, before they see the light. I hope it isn't beyond any hope before people come to the conclusion you and I have.
I am a meat eater. But I have curtailed my consumption of meat and will continue to do so. If necessary, I will stop eating meat at all. My partner came from Vietnam where meat and many other sources of protein like fish were scarce during communist rule. She consumes very little meat and even is allergic to some seafood. Her primary source of protein is tofu. I find the way she makes tofu is quite tasty. I can get my protein from beans and cheese if I have to. But I don't think I'll ever be a vegan. I am encouraged by research that I read about creating artificial meat that tastes and has consistency and nutrition similar to meat. That may be a way to make it less painful for meat eaters to change.

After the 1996 Port Arthur mass killing of 35 people, Australia bought back semi automatic rifles and pump shotguns under law. Since then, there have been no major mass killings in Australia. In almost every case in recent years, mass killings are carried out by people with semi automatic or fully automatic rifles with very large interchangeable cartridge magazines, similar to military use. And in some cases with silencers to mask the noise.
In spite of your concern about food and drugs, and the definite need to discover people who would revert to such drastic action to bring attention to their diverse needs, including suicide by the police, I believe removing these military weapons from the American landscape, would greatly improve the chances of survival in individual terroristic attacks. As a former hunter, I would abhor anyone using a military weapon to hunt with.
And, the real statistics on death by gun in the United States is limited by laws written and subsidized by the NRA and gun manufacturers. That number, from some states, indicates that it is much larger than anyone would imagine… Toddlers killed by pistols for so-called household defense. Wives killed by husbands with defense weapons in the house.
You're right. We are what we eat. I have been eating right for over 55 years and my health shows it.

I think the misuse of drugs is more psychological than anything else. Most people get involved in drugs because of peer pressure. They are not psychologically strong enough to resist friends telling them to, "Try this, it will… fill in the blank." Short of that we have to find ways to unhook people from their addictions as painlessly as possible.

I'm not an expert on how to stop the opioid epidemic like you, but I have an opinion.
It's a wonder that anything gets done right with all the temptations "the flesh is heir to." I don't know if it is nutrition, spiritualism, or some other wonder cure that is needed, but the combination of disposable cash,. curiosity, contempt for authority, and stupidity tend to get people in deep trouble for trying, "a little bit."

I experienced a total solar eclipse when I was in grade school. The only warning then was not to watch it with binoculars or the naked eye. Everybody smoked glass so they could look at it that way and not damage their eyes. No one in that whole town experience anything but awe at what happens when the moon's orbit crosses in front of the sun periodically, blocking the sun with a shadow.
There will be no unforeseen consequences, like normal solar eclipses that happen quite often in different parts of the world. But there probably will be trouble in the US in September that has been building since the Trump presidency has bungled this way on toward an inevitable changing of the guard before too long. Almost anyone can predict that.
