A lofty goal. But I would caution against the idea of someone “living like” for two weeks, knowing that they would return to their pampered lifestyles. I also have a problem with charity being used to solve deep systemic societal problems. It too easily becomes very selective and may play favorites. Ending up favoring the charity more than the targeted populations.
There is nothing wrong with charity. It's just that fairness has to be applied.

I had a little trouble pronouncing the title until I read the story. ;-)
A little bit of "a day in the life of" the unemployed. And, I believe that job-hunting is a little bit of serendipity like you describe in this story. Oftentimes, our best experience comes from hard knocks.

Yes, it is! I had to extend my sincere gratitude to her personally and what was so interesting, she had already read one of my books before she even met me! I had no idea and neither did she tell me from the beginning. I believe God puts genuine people in our path to help us along sometimes. Oh yes, I've heard about that Expo! Never give up!

It's always nice when we get promotion like that. I was interviewed for a radio program two years ago but my interview was either cut or postponed for another program at the time because it wasn't aired. Several other authors/artists were interviewed at the same time at the Abilities Expo held in Houston every year July/August.

It's usually wonderful to see people in love in public. But there can be times when their devoted activity may be selfish when others are obstructed or ignored. Politeness goes a long way.
