This is a well written poem about the way the world was back then and how it is right now.I can honestly say that people in this world are more narcisstic and cold-hearted as ever before.There is a huge lack of humanity in society and we need to take a deep close look at ourselves and realize that we are hurting each other.I feel as if this country as lost its morals,values and what is truly important in their lives.thank you for sharing this poem.I enjoy reading your works and I will continue to read more of your poems.take care
