Much to think about, this "displaced agony." It could be argued that these symbols and allusions are becoming more dense with razor wire and land mines of worthless stimulation to waste our time with frivolity. Obviously, they have not coerced the likes of either of us. BTW, what is so compelling about your writing is the open ended nature of your closings. Keep it up.

The free verse nature of this thinking allows the reader to look between and beneath the words, knowing the essence awaits those who are determined to discover... just as the writer proffers. There are some of us who risk, knowing that's what it's all about. I'm sure you are one of them.
