In my opinion, this is a one-sided love. Perhaps an argument or just a bad day made you look at her in such a negative manner. If this is the way your relationship is day after day, I think you are at a crossroad and need to make a decision to move on.

It's so heartwarming to read of your dedication as a Daddy. There is much wisdom and hope for his future in your poem to your son. What a privilege for him to be named Maisa--I'm glad you gave its definition for us who read. A very moving write.
