You have a very thorough and entertaining way of mixing description and dialogue. And from what I read, probably experience with what you are writing about--drug running. If drug sniffing dogs were ever brought to the airport, I don't think that sweeping out the cargo area on the Cessna would do the job. However, spreading vomit around the cargo door opening and in some areas might deter a dog's sense of smell. ;-)
By coincidence, the latest installment of Fargo has the villain, Vargas, as bulimic. He has the grungy teeth to prove it. Ugh.
I enjoyed this little excerpt very much.
My cousin flew us into a farmer friend's place in his Piper to do a little hunting in West Central Ohio one October day. Across the creek on another farm we found no game but he found a large marijuana grow. We quickly returned to Dayton and he called on a friend to help him harvest the grow. A couple of hours later he was back with what he called, "great stuff." I wouldn't know. Never smoked marijuana.
Much later, he was living on a antique 1947 32 foot Chris-Craft that I stayed on illegally for a couple of days moored behind a house in Pompano Beach where living on boats was not allowed. Later, he told me that he had rented the boat out to someone who made a run to the Bahamas for drugs and trashed it. I suspect that he was the one made the run for drugs.

Well written for the excerpt shown. No real humor yet unless regurgitation-talk is funny.
Having never participated in the lifestyle, I still enjoy reading about it.
