I've never owned a horse or rode one except a few times. Still, I'm quite concerned about the treatment of horses by those who keep them and are unprepared to care properly for them. Your article gives good tips for their care. As someone who has experienced pressure sores and how they can affect one's health, I fully understand more than most what inflicting such pain on a horse might be like for the poor, defenseless creature.
